I/UX Designer for Business Networking & Learning App (Freelance, Remote)

Description:
We are building a mobile application that combines the best of LinkedIn and YouTube: a platform where professionals can network and learn through posts and video lectures from experts.

We are looking for a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer who can help us shape the core user experience of our MVP. Your designs will set the foundation for the development team and directly influence how users connect, learn, and engage.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the founder/CTO to understand the vision, target users, and MVP scope.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes (Figma or similar).

• Design intuitive and clean user flows for:

  • User registration/login

  • User profiles (minimal for MVP)

  • Networking (follow/connect system)

  • Content feed (videos and posts)

  • Video upload & playback

• Ensure a consistent design system that can scale with future features.

• Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing mobile apps (iOS/Android).

• Portfolio with relevant projects (social media, networking, content platforms preferred).

• Strong skills in Figma (or similar tools).

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English.

• Understanding of MVP principles (focusing on simplicity & essentials first).

Nice to have:

• Experience designing apps with video content.

• Familiarity with social networking design patterns.
