React Native Mobile Developer for Business Networking & Learning App (Freelance, Remote)

Description:
We are developing a mobile application that combines the networking power of LinkedIn with the educational aspect of YouTube. The app allows professionals to connect, share knowledge, and learn through videos and posts.

We are looking for a React Native Developer who can build the first version of our mobile application (iOS & Android) based on finalized designs. You will collaborate closely with the CTO and a UI/UX designer.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the mobile app using React Native (Expo).

• Build the App Skeleton (navigation, login, feed, profile, upload).

• Integrate finalized UI/UX designs from Figma.

• Work with the backend developer (or CTO) to connect APIs for:

  • Authentication & profiles

  • Social features (follow/connect)

  • Content feed (posts, videos)

  • Video upload & playback (via third-party services like Mux or Vimeo API)

• Deliver an installable app on TestFlight (iOS) and Google Play (Internal Testing).

• Ensure clean, maintainable code with basic test coverage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in React Native (Expo or bare workflow).

• At least 2 published apps (iOS/Android) or equivalent portfolio.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.

• Experience consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.

• Good communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with video integration (upload/playback).

• Experience with Firebase or similar backend services.

• Knowledge of app deployment (TestFlight, Play Store).
