Back Office Manager for global E-commerce company

THE JOB

 

You will be responsible for the following:

1) Business Administration

   > Creating inbound and outbound invoices 

   > Carrying out domestic and foreign financial transactions and bank transfers

   > reconciliation of expense receipts and invoices

   > Preparation and filing of presentations, contracts and other documents

   > Setting and organizing meetings

   > Monitoring processes and achievement rates across the organization

   > Providing administrative support to other business units

 

3) Data Entry

   > Gathering and cleaning data from various data sources

   > Populating reports to other business units and partners

 

4) Customer Service

   > Ensuring timely response to customer requests via email

   > Identifying and resolving or escalating root causes to recurring incidents 

 

You will not be responsible for:

   > Inventory management

   > Product information management

   > Marketplace and channel management

   > Financial accounting (unless you want to grow into that role)

   > Marketing and sales activities

Your technical skills include (hard skills)?

   > Business Administration

   > Spreadsheet experience

   > Invoicing

   > Customer service

   > Solid understanding of how a business operates

   > Basic understanding of e-commerce incl. our main sales channels Amazon and Shopify

   > Basic understanding of accounting and finance

   > Fluent in English (spoken but more importantly written)

 

Nice to have, but not a must-have:

   > Fluent in German (spoken but more importantly written)

   > Experience using G Suite (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, G Mail)
