Customer Service, Fraud/Risk/AML

I'm German, having grown up in Germany and living for the last 15 years in South Africa. Most recently, I have been working in an Anti-Money Laundering Investigations Analyst Role and have experience in Risk&Fraud, as well as customer service. I am a very analytical person and a critical thinker, with a great attention to detail. I always aim to achieve the highest quality, while collaborating in the team and assisting others. I have over eight years’ experience in the e-commerce industry. I am fully conversed in KYC, Documentation Verification, Operational Compliance, GDPR, Risk, Fraud, SOW, and AML. My key focus is on end-to-end customer service. I am passionate and dedicated and have a keen eye for detail. I have also developed strong relationships with other teams within the business I have been working in, in order to drive first contact resolutions and best practice across the company. Further, I’m an active member of the Contact Centre Management Group (CCMG) in South Africa, with the professional designation of Brand ambassador.
I further have experience in electrical engineering, due to my electrical studies in Germany.
My work experience in a field that requires great attention to detail and accuracy will be of great value for any transcription and translation work. I’m looking to use these skills, together with my German and English language proficiency, to broaden my career.
In my spare time, I enjoy supporting our Local Church Ministry in organising and leading church services, as well as being involved through my church in LGBTQIA+ rights, which further highlights my passion for people.
