I recently finalized my BA degree in American Studies at the University of Vienna. A significant part of my studies concentrates on the areas of critical and analytical thinking, excellent writing skills, issue management, research skills, the production and consumption of culture, and many more.
Before transferring to the University of Vienna, I have studied Journalism and Communications for a year at the Georgian National University “SEU.” In this short time, the field has provided me with the core journalistic and communication skills, including investigating and reporting, researching, writing, and interviewing. I have further developed technical skills like MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), content management, and editing.
Moreover, I have completed my internship (remotely) as a Public Relations Intern at Platform Media Group, which operates in Los Angeles. This is where I have gained valuable PR skills such as drafting press releases, pitches, press clippings, as well as networking, relationship building, researching, and time management.
Furthermore, I strengthened my analytical, organizational, communication, and team-working skills after my experience as a Social Media Intern at the Metropole Magazine – an English-speaking magazine in Vienna - where my core responsibilities were managing the company’s social media, finding engaging content, interviewing, and many more.
I am bilingual (Georgian-English), and I can communicate in two other languages – German (good) and Russian (fair).
I am confident that my academic qualifications, initiative-taking, multilingualism, enthusiasm for learning, and organizational abilities, among several other skills mentioned above, are strong merits and competitive advantages, which would be valuable for an employer.
